park HOPPIN'

For spring break we did some National Park Hoppin'. We started at Zions: Sam had been looking forward to sleeping in a tent for weeks. When it was time to go we couldn't find Sam. After looking through the house, we found him in the car, in his car seat, buckled in, and saying, "lets go!"

After our first night in the tent we hiked to the Emerald pools.













Then we did some exploring around the campground, and found this cool little beach by the river.



Funny story: This French family pulled into the campsite next to us, and as soon as they stopped these two little kids ran out. Sam and the boy stood face to face for about 3 seconds then the boy said, "Hallo!" Then they ran off together and started playing. The girl joined in and they were inseparable. Their little French voices were soo cute! Then, when it was time for Sam to go to bed, they had to say their goodbyes. So, the little girl gives Sam a kiss on each cheek then grabs his face and kisses him right on the lips! Sam just looked at us with a big grin, and when the little boy tried to give him kisses Sam straight-armed him, and said,"yucky." because the boy had smores all over his face.



The next day we did Angels landing.



Taylor carried Sam, on his shoulders, to the end!



Then we Hopped on over to Capitol Reef were we only spent the night and few hours exploring.

After spending a few hours playing with the goblins, we Hopped to Arches where we met up with my parents.
