Baby update

So we went to the doctor again the other day to get Aubree's 10-week ultrasound.  Aub had been having some signs of trouble with the pregnancy, so it was with a little bit of nervous anticipation that we went forth.  The first image on the ultrasound screen was an extremely active little fetus, complete with rudimentary limbs and everything.  It was amazing to see how much it had grown and developed in such a short time.  Then they moved the device around to try to get a look at the other baby, but things were not so good.  The other fetus had stopped developing at about the 8 week stage, and there was no visible heartbeat.  It was a difficult mix of relief and happiness for the one, and loss for the other.  Our good doctor gave us some words of comfort, and empathized with us.  He said that he and his wife were having twins on their first go-round.  He was so excited that he told everyone, but then she lost one, and it was extrememly difficult for the two of them.  He told us that one is the ideal situation though.  We're supposed to come one at a time.  The potential for complications is dramatically reduced.  So while it's really sad and everything, it's probably for the best.  And we're both really happy with how well everything else has been going with the other.  Now if we could only come up with some names we agree on...
Going Swimming!
I am so excited that the weather is finally warm enough to go swimming!
Brooke & Tami's kids came over the other day for some pool fun!
Andrew would not let go of Taylor, I think something in the water scared him!

He had a lot more fun jumping on the tramp!

Even though it's been super warm lately the water in the pool is still pretty chilly & Kira just jumped right in! my favorite part is that she's wearing my old racing swim suit! You can only imagine how tight it was on me!

Honey!

So we saw this sticky gooey puddle on our dresser & we were trying to figure out what it was? Then Taylor looked up and saw drops of the same stuff on the ceiling vent! Last year they had a problem with bees up in the attic so when the exterminator came over he took the vent off to find a whole bunch of honey & dead bees! If we had only known! we could have filled a jar of our own fresh honey - staight form the ceiling vent!

No need to get your eyes checked, there are indeed 2 babies in this picture!
Yes, we are pregnant with twins!

One Year Anniversary
Holy Cow! We have been married a whole year!
Well our day started off with a blizzard! We really do have the craziest weather - only two days ago I was thinking about jumping in the pool it was so warm out!

So we stayed inside & made some crepes!

Then we went to a 3-D movie also inside!

then headed over to BJ's for a delicious dinner & Pizookie!

Of course we finished off the day with some year-old wedding cake!
It wasn't as good as the pizookie but it was still pretty good!

Mr. Horspool?

Today was Taylor's last day of teaching Spanish! It was crazy cause instead of just substituting for a few days he got to run the whole thing (grading, homework, etc.) for a few months!

Apparently the kids loved him cause some of his students gave him this chocolate cake with one of Taylor's catch phrases on it.

in case you can't see it says easy,

YIKES!

There we were, in the movie theatre watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button when the earth shook beneath us! And it was hillarious cause right when a man gets struck by lighning in the movie it started shaking! aaaaaaaaaah it is so scary! When is the big Earthquake going to hit?

Well, I guess you could say that the earthquake added to the special effects cause we all like the movie!
